| Description | Prevention and care of athletic injuries with emphasis on qualities of a good athletic trainer, avoiding accidents and injuries, recognizing signs and symptoms of specific sports injuries and conditions, immediate and long-term care of injuries, and administration procedures in athletic training. | ||||||||

| Attendance Policy |
Research has shown a cause and effect relationship between attendance and college success. Students with more than 2 absences from the course with no communication with the instructor will receive the deduction from the participation grades. Students must provide a proof of the valid reason of absence/ late show ups to avoid the points deduction. 2 late show ups are counted as an absence. |
